what is nil?
nil is an iPhone app for quitting nicotine: vapes, nicotine pouches, cigarettes or any mix. It counts the money you’re not spending, helps you through cravings and never resets you for a slip. One developer, Owen Wallace, makes it.
does nil work for Zyn and other nicotine pouches?
Yes. Nicotine pouches, Zyn and the like, are one of the three things nil tracks, with vapes and cigarettes. If you use more than one, it tracks all of them.
can i taper instead of quitting cold turkey?
Yes. When you set nil up, you pick cold turkey or a taper. You can change the plan later on the profile screen.
is there a free trial?
Yes. The yearly plan starts with a free week, Apple’s introductory offer, once per customer. nil reminds you before it ends, and if you cancel at least 24 hours before, you won’t be charged.
do i need an account?
No. There’s nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
does nil work on Android or iPad?
Not for now. nil is for iPhone only, on iOS 17 or later, and only on the US App Store.
what if my subscription runs out?
A card with the price, “restore purchases” and “manage subscription” covers the app’s tabs. sos still opens, because help with a craving should never sit behind a paywall.
is nil medical advice?

who is nil for?
